Which CID receives updates fastest?

If I were to take a guess, I'd say the Developer Edition CID will probably get updates faster than all other ones? My device's CID is HTC__J15 (WWE, Europe) and I just recently ran a RUU zip and restored everything back to stock then performed the latest .13 firmware update. There's still no 5.0.2 and I'm assuming we're going to be getting Sense 7 with Android 6.0 some time in the coming months because HTC is so slow, so I was wondering if I just change the CID with my current setup (stock recovery, ROM, etc.) to BS_US001, will I actually receive updates with them or would I have to find a Developer Edition RUU and run it first?
