You should go to a verizon store and check it out over there.

Anyway, I just bought a Pixel 2 128GB for the same price as the 64GB. I hope the seller is legit. I haven't canceled my 2XL yet.. I'm either going to cancel it, or give either the Pixel 2 or the 2 XL to my mom

Pixel 2 XL 128GB Black & White for me. Unfortunately those will not be available in Canada till mid-November.

So I picked up a 64GB Black Pixel 2 to tide me over as my old phone needed to be replaced.

Here in the States also. I ordered within minutes and delivery estimate at Nov 28-29th.

I've read the P2XL battery life is amazing but it's encouraging to read that the 5" Pixel is too.

Went from 6P > 5X > Pixel XL. Now fancy something smaller again so have ordered a Pixel today and cancelled my P2XL. Handled a Google reps Pixel in Carphone Warehouse in the UK today and it felt great.

Similar situation here. Nexus 6 > 5x> XL and currently have the Pixel 2. I have the 2xl arriving tomorrow to compare, but after using the 2 all weekend I don't think I'm going to go XL this time around.

I switched from a Moto Z Play to the 128gb black Pixel (not XL). The battery life is surprisingly very good. Is it as good as the Z Play? Of course not. But I'd say it's about 2/3 as good as the Z Play. I'm getting about 7 hours SOT and a little more than one day total.

And don't forget, outside of battery life, everything about the Pixel would be an improvement. Biggest thing for me is how much better the Pixel feels in my hand. The Z Play was big and hard to use with one hand.

7 hours sot? That's incredible.

I bought the Pixel 2 XL as it had the larger screen. The small ones are not readable to me, letter to small to read.

I purchased the regular 2 , was also concerned about readability so my first trip to Verizon I turned up font & display size ,found it to be comfortable viewing

Just wondering.. If I buy a Verizon version of the Pixel 2/XL2, can I use it for any carrier including AT&T, or is it really locked to Verizon? I've talked to Verizon people, and they obviously say its for verizon only because they don't want to lose a sell. I remember another thread saying it was okay to use for another carrier(but it will have verizon bloatware and you can't mod it), but I want to make sure just in case.. Especially from people who have tried this before with the Pixel 1 or Pixel 2. I think I found a good deal online that beats my preorder that isn't verizon unlocked.

i need to know asap as my 2xl ships from google tomorrow, and the deal from the other place could go quick. Though I wonder if I don't like the screen if I could get an actual warranty/return from google. O_o

edit: welp, I just bit the bullet. I bought the verizon version for $900 for the 2XL 128GB verizon version. And I canceled my 2XL 64GB unlocked version from google store which would have shipped tomorrow and I'd get it by Thursday. Feel kind of bad(GGs free home mini). I saved $$$ though and I get more space then I would likely ever need for free. I'm not worried about bootloaders/customizing the pixel 2xl software.. But I just hope everything goes smoothly with my non-verizon carrier and the phone works fine(including the display), as well as warranty..

Sure thing! Right now I've been off the charger for over 20 hours with 2.5 hours of SOT and I'm at 67%.

That's really good to know! I've had the Z Play for less than a month and came from a Moto X2. Battery was ok, until the fast few months–then it was practically unusable. But one issue that I had had for a long time was battery drain in standby, and I mean MAJOR drain. But only sometimes. There was no rhyme or reason and I never knew when it would leave me stranded.

I've read other corroborating experiences regarding standby time so this is a great thing to hear.

In September I ordered a 2016 Pixel XL then decided to wait for the Pixel2 reveal.

At the reveal webcast, I ordered a Panda 2XL. Didnt worry about the blue shift and other non issues.

When the Burn-In stories came out, I canceled the Panda and ordered a regular Pixel2.

After seeing them both today, I canceled the regular Pixel2 and ordered a black 2XL.

Google store probably thinks I am crazy.

Pixel 2 in Black. Awesome phone! No clicking, no whining, no blue screen, and the notification light works! Definitely a keeper! Absolutely NO complaints. Great job Google!

Verizon doesn't lock its phones anymore but the phone will have a boot loader. The updates also come from Verizon but they apparently land at roughly the same time as those coming straight from Google.

The final Oreo dev preview and official Oreo update were avail on Verizon devices within a few days after Google released them. Not too bad for a carrier-branded device.

Anyone surprised by this poll's current results?

Got a Pixel 2 XL.
