which extended battery is best?

YES!!! Check out their website again, on the right hand side of the page there is a protective case product for the EVO with the 3500mAh battery.

Here is the page for it:
Cell Phones and Tablets :: HTC :: HTC Evo 4G :: HTC Evo 4G Protective Case for 3500 mAh Extended Life Battery - LED Flashlights, Cell Phone Gadgets, Computer Gadgets, iPhone 4 Accessories, and much more with $1.99 Flat Rate Shipping!

Maybe, sometime really soon, there will be a case for the Droid X with the 3500mAh battery.

If they made the case for the dx I'd hope it would be designed to work with their current holster.I purchased their holster clip for the dx since it works with either stock or extended battery and it wasnt expensive, its a vert. holster and has a decent clip, both pocket clip and the clip that holds phone in holster.

Ordered my gorilla gadgets battery on Friday at 10 am and got it on Saturday, but I live in southern Cali where they are located. I got a solid 15 hrs out of this thing without even charging it under moderate use. About seven of those hours were on idle, but still. Settings: gps, auto sync wifi all on, auto brightness on, and played games for about 2hrs. The extended battery from verizon would have only lasted about 8 to 9 hrs under these conditions, so I call that a huge improvement and money well spent. After a full charge, I'll get back to you guys to see how long it lasts.Btw, after installing this battery on my x it doesn't look or feel that bad.

Just a little update : my phone never feels hot with this battery. The only downside is that the battery guage is inaccurate, and my battery left app too, but the super extended battery life is a tradeoff I'm more than willing to take.

Have you reset your battery stats in recovery under the advance settings ?
After fully charging this battery thats the first thing I reset in regards to the battery .

yup, did that already. Let me try it again just in case.

Ok so now that I tried this battery at work, it only lasted about. 10hrs with moderate use. This sucks, because it only lasted 2 more hours than the droid x extended battery from Verizon. Maybe I need to train it? Any suggestions from the guys that have this battery and it lasts more than 10hrs? Thanks

I already tried the reset battery stats from the recovery menu btw.I think it might be my phone, because I have tried everything under the sun to get better battery life with no luck.

Ok, so yesterday gorilla battery lasted about 11hrs with heavy use, but with a new rom(Darkslide ) and almost all my apps not installed yet. I guess i'll reinstall my apps little by little to see what happens. If it can last until I get home like yesterday, that's all I need.

That is what extended batteries are all about, usage. Set everything uup, then set up a usage layout to see different power consumption levels. But 11hrs thats pretty good with heavy use.

I couldn't resist. These guys are so cool at Gorilla. I hooked up three other people for batteries for their phones that I work with so I wanted to share the "emblem" if you will of extended batteries for us all!

So I reinstalled all my apps and widgets, and this thing is still going strong. My charger will now stay at home. I still carry my extra battery in my lunch bag just in case.

I got my verizon extended battery. I'm getting over 24 hours with gps on. That's good enough for me and my accessories still work. Sometimes the phone locks up with the stock door on.

Are you using the extended battery with the stock door? Not a good idea. It could put too much pressure on your screen and crack it. There's a reason they give you that extra door with your extended battery fyi.
