which extended battery is best?

That's good to know. I might ave to pick up one of those and for that price, its not bad at all. It also looks much better then the seidio one. But I've had better luck with seidio products then others.

haha if I had Confuscious(?) in a headlock id make him say...extended batteries, chances are that so they may be taken. boosh lol

so after being impatient I gave it the ole overload test for the Gorilla tonite instead of tomorrow. Started fully charged earlier about 7p . I downloaded over 40 videos(at least 10min each) thru an app I have, I streamed my Last.fm the entire time, had my wi-fi on(router is upstairs), I texted as much as I could, turned on a live-wallpaper, brightness to auto, and ran a Quadrant test with reults of 2nd place at 1237. Also changed clock widget, opened both Yahoo messenger and gtalk(with reading incoming emails). It is now just after midnight, I shut down each app individually, restarted LPP and factory booted. Battstat widget shows 70%. Not bad. Now i can do hardly nothin like text now and then maybe use a few apps and it will last thru the night into the next day on my normal settings I had posted og. Overall, the GorillaGadgets 3500Mhz extended battery is a well worth investment IMO.

Seidio makes great batteries, I had the 3200 mah for my nexus one and I could go almost 3 days without charging, but I prefer the Motorola extended battery, its a nice little bump in power an it doesn't really add any bulk to the phone.

Either that or high demand and they had to try to rush shipping from suppliers. I would love to get it but I have too many things that would not fit like the multimedia dock and it's my alarm clock. Then there is the car dock which I use when I travel. And I NEED a case or else my phone would be scratched up badly.

Yup They have a disclaimer on the battery now because of heavy orders on it . Says will ship in one week now, I got mine yesterday after odering it monday afternoon. That disclaimer wasnt on their site monday

And now my and yours reward for boosting their sales is.....nothing. So I went ahead and sent them a nice long email about how I and then all others were the reason for their boost in sales and wanted a thank you in reply. Lets see if it happens. I want something in return for boosting their sales on this awesome battery. It is still going strong!

I got your email. We typically don't post in forums, as we don't want to come across as spammers. We truly do appreciate the good press here and I am more than happy to answer questions here or by email.

Thanks,
Chris Burtram - Gorilla Gadgets

I ordered the Motorola extended but I may still get a Gorilla for those days I'm wearing my painter's pants. Big pockets so I don't care about the phone size.

YES!!! Check out their website again, on the right hand side of the page there is a protective case product for the EVO with the 3500mAh battery.

Here is the page for it:
Cell Phones and Tablets :: HTC :: HTC Evo 4G :: HTC Evo 4G Protective Case for 3500 mAh Extended Life Battery - LED Flashlights, Cell Phone Gadgets, Computer Gadgets, iPhone 4 Accessories, and much more with $1.99 Flat Rate Shipping!

Maybe, sometime really soon, there will be a case for the Droid X with the 3500mAh battery.
