I plan on continuing with Nova, I like the backup features , the infinite scroll on dock etc.

Unless it's broken on Oreo, I'll keep using it. I am still on 7.1.1 N, on my N6 (Another reason for a new phone)

Nova all the way! I tried the current Pixel Launcher on my XL for about 5 minutes, then switched back.

BlackBerry Launcher. It's simple and fast. Might try Nova at some point.

I'm using the stock everything at least for a while. I'll just be thrilled to have pure Android on my phone!

I'll try out the new launcher but I'm sure I will move over to Nova rather quickly. It just has too much customization for me to give up.

Doesn't it take away some of the intended Google "pure" experience to change launchers? Not all, but certainly alot can't wait to put Nova on first thing out of the box. I have an old HTC 10 that I run the Pixel launcher on sometimes and get as close to a Google experience as possible. Of course the beauty of android is customization and I fully get that but can't help but find it mildly amusing to see so many can't wait to get Nova on their new Pixels.

I will try out the new Pixel launcher at first, then go to Nova launcher. Right now I'm not a fan of the persistent search bar across all screens, but It seems better being at the bottom.

I used the Pixel launcher most of this year with my Pixel XL but just recently switched to Nova. I really liked the original Pixel launcher.

I actually like the pixel launcher. I really like they moved the search bar to the bottom. Much better.

Expecting that the squeeze assistant will work with Nova Prime?

Apex. It's the one I happened to choose way back when and have seen no reason to use any of the others customs as they are all pretty much the same (Nova/Action/etc).

I love being able to set the number of rows/columns on the home screens and app drawers. That alone is enough reason.........

Funny, everyone talks about having a pure android experience and want to switch to a 3rd party launcher first thing. I have used Nova on my HTC and Samsung phones. Is the native Android launcher really that bad that I still need to use a Nova Launcher?

Pure Android is still pure Android if you run a launcher on top but I get what you're saying..

Nova launcher just for minor tweaks. That's the beauty of stock Android.

Is it the "native android launcher" any more? It's Google's own "Pixel launcher" with Google services hooked into it, rather than the old AOSP launcher.

It may not even be a matter of "that bad", but of what functionality it has. If you have a preferred setup, option or customisation and the stock launcher doesn't let you do what you want then sure, change launcher. That seems to me to be entirely within the spirit of Android.

I'll use the stock launcher at first, if I get bored I have Nova Launcher pro. With my Pixel I always went back and forth.
