Android Central Question

It has been the case for many Android versions that they theoretically have the functionality to move apps to an external memory card instead of having them fill up the internal storage. This is an especially important feature for users of lower-end devices, which often only come with between 8 and 16 gigabytes of storage.

However, I have found that on my Lenovo A+ phone running Android 5.1, Lenovo have actually blocked the App2SD feature, which seems completely ridiculous given that it has hardly any storage.

A bit of research reveals that this is not an isolated case - some of the most popular Android device manufacturers, including Samsung, LG, Huwaei and Asus, are preventing users from accessing this feature.

Can anyone provide a list of which manufacturers block App2SD and which one is allow it? Also, why do manufacturers choose to remove this feature from their builds of Android?
