Which Note Edge unlocked would work on verizon?

Curious of which carriers note edge unlocked would work on verizon?
I see some back and forth of att and tmobile working on verizon, and I seen some use an unlocked sprint phone on verizon. Hoping to get some light shined on this.

Now whether its full lte, or 3g or 2g.
Or can just make calls and text messages I'm curious.

The Verizon version - one ending in a V. Technically other ones may work, but Verizon won't activate phones that aren't theirs.

Is there a reason why they won't even if it was all clean and unlocked?

Also if unlocked any carrier can it be used outside the us for example using a canadian service in canada

This is one of the reasons carriers like Sprint and T-Mobile poke so much fun at Verizon and entice you to bring your Verizon phone. Verizon, in the nicest terms possible, is the prude of all the carriers.
