I am at a quandary I need a new phone the Samsung Galaxy A40 I have has a myriad of problems the ones I am looking at are Motorola G54 which has 256GB storage which I would have to pay however because of my circumstances my local job centre has offered me a Motorola Moto e14 how ever it is short on features that the G54 has I'm not been ungrateful but which would you go for I have heard the G54 has no gallery app Thank you

From what I can find, the Moto E14 runs Android Go, which is a stripped-down version of Android intended for lower-spec phones. It would likely give you a subpar experience. https://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_moto_e14-13148.php

The Moto G54 has much better specs, so it's clearly a better choice: https://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_moto_g54-12543.php. If you heard it has no gallery app, that probably refers to the fact that it comes with Google Photos preinstalled, which acts as the stock gallery app. If you don't like Google Photos, there are some good 3rd party alternatives.

Yes go with the Motorola moto, they have high quality phones which last a lifetime. At least it has android on it. The Samsung galaxy is trash.

One major disadvantage of Moto phones in general is Lenovo's dismal update reputation. Samsung is much better when it comes to timely security updates and OS version upgrades.
