Which phone is better?

lol trust me buddy when 2012 comes TB would be last of your worries if you want it you just might get thunderbolt up your... the world shall end you shall burn in the fire ooh this is not domes day thread?

In 2012 you will have way way way better line of phones and I can tell you TB you will look back and say "what a silly phone" you have to remember phone's lifespan is like 4-6months before carrier's get rid of it from stock. Its always upgrading to better. If TB was GSM based without heartbeat I would have gotten it IDK why HTC make CDMA based WTF is decent GSM based phones and only thing they have is DHD which is EU model, how does that help us in USA?

Well, Verizon is the largest carrier in the U.S., and thus they carry a lot of influence. Verizon pays big bucks to get all of these top-notch phones, and HTC just happens to be one of their big clients.

That's at least here anyway, I can't speak for outside the States.

I was referring to general terms by standard and BTW we always have it in GSM before CDMA in terms of hardware. But there is a catch if you look at past GSM models take HD2 they had EU model then made US model, take DHD they have EU model and there are talks about US model.

Now I know its all part of HTC's Biz model but hey it don't help me when I have no other option than HD2 as DHD is out of question due to 3G support. Far as what I see 4.3" CMDA has Evo, DX, TB. We only have HD2 and thats 2009 hardware. I think its time HTC give us upgrade.

Oh, I agree with you 100% that you deserve to be getting something from them. Actually kind of surprising there haven't been more GSM large devices like the X or EVO, especially since in other platforms, GSM tends to get more love than us CDMA'ers haha.

That is ATT's fault but that is another story. There is a hot new Motorola for ATT but...yeah.

Hey Everyone,

So firstly let me say I have been an avid follower of Androidcentral the past few months, but seeing as I am going to be dumping my Blackberry soon and joining "The Green Team", I figured I should get a sense of what's what.

Anyway, I've narrowed my search down to getting one of 2, The Incredible or Thunderbolt. Besides 4G and a kickstand, is there really much of a difference? Only reason I ask is because I'm prob going on the BOGO with my mother so if she offers I want to know if I should take it or just wait.

The thunderbolt is the better device. If you are not in a 4g area or do not want to pay the extra data fee then the DINC is a awesome device for a great price.. course there is always the DINC 2.. lol

Im with blackmannx and BOGO is also awesome!
There is little comparison betweent the two phones Dolt is gonna blow the DInc outta the water. But if ya wont make due of the 4G then a free DInc will really shine!
