Which ports on the Galaxy Nexus?

I'm seeing specs for the phone but some of the most important things(to me) missing. So does anyone actually know which ports will be on this phone? Micro-USB, mini-HDMI, contact charging?

One of the photos that I saw showed that it had a micro-USB on the bottom, but no HDMI port. I'm supposing the 3 metallic-looking contacts on the right side are for contact charging. I'll see if I can dig up the photo, but you can probably search through the many articles now and find the photo.

I've seen comments that refer to pictures that "prove" that the Nexus does not have an SD port, I've seen comments that refer to pictures that "prove" that the Nexus does have an SD port. This has become pretty ridiculous at this point.

I'm wondering why Samsung hasn't put out an official list of features to be found on this phone?? Its not really like that would be doing it at the last minutes, they've known for some time what this phone will have and what it will not have.

Right now, all comments and proofs are still nothing more than conjecture and innuendo and supposition and sometimes just old fashioned wishful thinking. Ok, Samsung, how about some real and solid information, what are you waiting for?

Hoping it has HDMI out via USB...

They need to build in DLNA or uPNP screen casting into Jambalaya(or whatever the next flavor of Android is). That will solve the HDMI out problem


Oh and the real question is if this phone does use contact charging could it be possible that the micro-USB that people are seeing is really mini-HDMI?

oh yeah, maybe the dock has the HDMI out...

I would be very surprised if this phone doesn't support HDMI via USB. I wouldn't worry too much.

one of the features that i wanted was the hdmi out and mirroring. It would suck if it didn't have it.
