Which prepaid services can I use on my phone?

I purchased a cheap LG Tribute Empire through Boost. I only need it for talk/text and some email and web browsing. Nothing crazy. My question is, should I pay a third party company to unlock the device for me, which prepaid plans can I use it on? Boost runs off the Sprint network. Which is obviously CDMA. Now, when I check the LG website they claim this device works on both CDMA and GSM networks. Here's what they have listed:

Frequencies: LTE Bands 25/26/41; LTE Roaming Bands 2/4/5/12/13; CDMA Bands 0/1/10; GSM Quad (MHz) 850/900/1800/1900; UMTS Quad Bands 1/2/4/5

Network: LTE, CDMA, GSM, UMTS

Based on that info, can I use a FreedomPop, Republic Wireless, or even a Google Fi SIM in this device and have it work without limitations?

I moved this from the General News forum to the Prepaid Carriers forum for more specific traffic.

Yes, it operates on CDMA and GSM networks. If you wait until you've owned it for 12 months (and you don't owe any money on it), Boost will unlock it for free. If you don't want to do that, research the companies you want to pay for the unlock code - some will supply you with half a dozen codes, one of which may work. Others will supply you with the correct code for that phone.
