I am preparing to root my phone, and can't decide which ROM to flash, ThundeRom or Scott Pilgrim Awesomeness? which has more features? which is stabler? Do they both support overclocking? Hotspot widget? Bluetooth? WiFi? and other functionality?

i see people ask what ROM is the "best" ROM all the time. None of them are better in everyway than the rest though. But if you are just starting i would maybe start with nROM because you don't have to wipe all your data, but it doesn't really matter (I started on Lego ROM). I wouldn't start on CM7 (scott pilgrim awesomeness) because that one isn't stable for some people.

Bottom line: Make sure your on vd baseband and rooted before flashing anything and i would recommend starting with nROM, or ThunderROM.

i almost forgot, yes you can overclock, use bluetooth and wifi, on any ROM (except for the handfull of people that have trouble with bluetooth on cm7) if you want a easy to use hotspot widget i'd say go with thunderROM (i think that nROM has the same widget with the new update but im not sure)

I started this one with scott pilgrim awesomeness and haven't had any unstability issues with it... the newest build works great.

I think they are all good roms just depends on what you want or don't want. I have tried all of them and went with ThundeRom for the easy use and functions. That's my honest opinion

I switch between NROM, TR, AOSP,& Scott pilgram constantly as they all have features I like. Though if I could get cyanogen settings on TR and nROM, I'd probably stick with those 2 a little more.....

Scott Pilgrim Awesomeness is the only way I can get Gingerbread, right? If so, Is there anything that I would be missing out on?

No, aosp will also give you GB.

In regards to what is best, I believe you are ultimately going to want to try most of them, if not all. "So give into the dark side young jedi" and flash away! :D

lol, thanks :D

Think of asop as the barebones of CM. And SPA is full

AOSP is open source Android, completely barebones. CyanogenMod (Scott Pilgrim Awesomeness) is AOSP, but with tweaks and added settings to be a more "power-user" ROM.

I personally like LG based ROMs because there are some functions in there that AOSP lacks... like the LG Hidden Menu, which allows you to force roaming, do service programmings, and view debug information, etc.
