I am looking to buy a Galaxy S5, unlocked. However, in searching for an unlocked S5, I noticed there are a lot of different model numbers. Wikipedia lists several of the model numbers:
SM-G900F, SM-G900H, SM-G900R4, SM-G900T, SM-G900V, SM-G900RZWAUSC (U.S. Cellular; white), SM-G900W8 (Canadian LTE)

So, basically, I have no idea which one I should get. I am in the USA and am specifically seeking an unlocked phone, but will likely use T-Mobile, and it needs to be 4G enabled. Any idea which model I should look for? Is it SM-G900F?

I think 900F model not present in us. 900T is for T-Mobile. 900V for Verizona etc.
900H version is Exynos version. But all others are qualcom version..

Does this mean the 900F will not work in the U.S.? Also, which of these have unlocked bootloaders?

All of them will work anywhere in the world. You will need a local SIM card, or a roaming plan with a carrier.

Since you will be on T-Mobile, which IIRC, has unlimited data, I would simply buy their unlocked version and be happy.

Don't think the 900f has the right lte bands. My daughter is using the 900f unlocked on AT&T. Gets 4G but no lte. T-Mobile may have different lte bands, though. 900f has European lte bands.
