Which Screen Protector?

I saw this over at XDA and wanted to share. Link for 70% off Caseology screen protectors. I've never used them but there are good reviews of their other phones. Plus for less than $4 from a good company with installation guide tray, it's worth a shot.

I have Zagg glass on mine right now but the edges lift for a better term. Not liking it . Ordered Armorsuit Militaryshield screen protector after seeing one on my friends S9+.

Screen protectors haven't been needed for years. GG is very scratch resistant, my 2xl screen is pristine after a year of naked use. I'm doing the same as I write this post on my 3xl.

I got some scratches on my Pixel 2 XL, so I can't agree that screen protectors are not necessary.

The amFilm works great and includes 3 tempered glass partial coverage. I screwed the first because i made it uneven hanging slightly over one side of the speaker. It probably would have been fine like that but I'm just OCD like that. I tried adjusting it but that didn't work out too well. Second try was a charm, the key was to install it while the shower was running a while. I I was able to install it with the case on the phone actually.very happy with it.... those other full coverage ones never work out right. It covers enough of the screen that I'm satisfied.

Thanks! I'll give it a try as well.

Hopefully. Do you happen to have any photos of yours? My replacement still hasn't arrived.

No, I can't take a pic of my phone with my phone...

I do have a bit of lift off on the left side, but I'd say it's no more than 1/32", prolly less.

I read there will be no more Whitestone protector for pixel 3 or 3xl. Something about a deal they made with Samsung.

Actually.... looks like Whitestone for the 3 and 3XL is slated for November.

That's the one I got.. yes. it is not perfect, but it's OK and to me it was free. Better than nothing until something better comes out.

Came today. I'm use to the Tempered Glass that uses a wet solution to put on and slide the bubbles out. This was dry applied. Use the hot shower technique, then included cloth wipe, followed by alcohol wipe then dry wipe. This has large hold tabs that allow you to hover over the phone and place down perfectly.

Applied as perfect as I've seen, clean solidly attached edges. Dust specks seen are on the top.View attachment 292476

Okay, something weird. This link now goes to a completely different screen protector to which this link previously went. Again, this is not the screen protector that I have, as can be seen by the pictures in my post

Just ordered these. Thanks for posting. We'll see how it goes. I also got a case for under $2 for my 3XL.

I went ahead and ordered the caseology screen protector. That alignment tool is something I would need to get a good fit. I'm too clumsy with these screen protectors.

Don't order AceTech screen protectors. It didn't last 2 day due to the touch issues
