I just found out that the password manager I use, LastPass, will support the Pixel 4's face unlock.
That's great news for me!
But what other apps will support the new security paradigm?
The issue there is if one uses a password manager app that doesn't support Face Unlock, then he has to manually type in the master password of the password manager app each time he needs to copy/paste a password for another app such as a bank.another thought here....even if face unlock is not supported, it will default to PIN. So, you can still use the app and the device....

Most users have something more than a simple PIN as the master password for a password manager app.
I use Enpass, the same app Andrew Martonik uses, and had frustrations with in his review. Google Pixel 4 XL review: A night vision camera that's dead by sunset https://www.androidcentral.com/google-pixel-4-xl-reviewExactly this. I use LastPass, and while I hear FaceID support is coming , it's not here yet. I suspect lots of apps will be this way for this first generation unfortunately.
There are 5 that is support it as of now. Dashlane, 1Password, Keeper, Password Safe, and Robinhood.
And LastPass, though apparently it's not live just yet...
