I am confused. When I first got my note 9 the network setting was on global. I changed it to LTE cause I was told thats the best service. but my phone is always asking anymore since the update to go to global. which do you guys do? I have Verizon for my service.

I'm on Verizon and always keep mine on global. My wife has the Note 9, and she left it on whatever the default is (I'm assuming global, but I haven't possibly checked it).
