Which version of Quick Charge?

What do you guys think? I noticed there was a thread about if there was going to be Qi and QC. I think that was a definite yes. My question is do you think Samsung will go to QC 4.0 this time around? It seems like it would be better since it also supports power delivery. They've got the right processor for it. That could likely make it where in the future, any charger you grabbed would work and charge your device quickly, especially if Apple hops on the USB C train.

Does anyone really even care what version it has?

I'm with you. I assumed it would be the 4.0 but then Sony announced their device with a SD 835 with only 3. Hope Samsung doesn't follow.

Yes! no Quick Charge 2.0 please. I would OK with QC 3.0 since thats pretty good, but when you going all out on a Snapdragon 835 its kind of important to have QC 4.0 especially on a device thats $700+

3 breaks PD and PD is the most important part of 4, which is why I say 4 is the only option. I'd rather have PD with no QC than QC without PD.

At first I wasn't sure if I would prefer that because it seems like quick charge adapters are easier to find than PD. I guess PD is the future though with USB C becoming more common place.

I think it's a possibility. Seems to be a lot of rumors going around that they will. I don't follow Apple rumors that much though so who knows. I hope they do though. That would make it so easy to charge at a friend's house or at work without having to worry about bringing your charger.
