While upgrding my Micromax A106 to Lollipop version Important apps are lost, how can I get them back?

While upgrding my Micromax A106 to lollipop version Important apps are lost

I have Micromax Unite A106. Micromax was recently offering upgrade to lollipop version so I upgraded it. But after upgrading it , most of my earlier apps are lost.[/SIZE] for example my important 'Note' app containing data is nowhere there.

Kindly help me in this regard. I am extremely grateful for your help.

Was the "note" app one that you downloaded from Google Play yourself or was it one that came on the phone? If it came on the phone, there's a possibility Micromax chose not to update it for Lollipop and it was removed from the system image.

While having "baked in" apps like that is nice, there are drawbacks as well, this being one of them. Of course, with apps from the Play Store, you run the risk of an update making it incompatible but those chances are slimmer.
