White Blocks on Lock Screen

I have had my Galaxy S4 since last August. This problem started before the new update.

Every now an then when I go to unlock my device I notice white blocks instead of some characters, on the lock screen, like in the picture attachment. This only effects the lock screen and is remedied by restarting the device. It does get really bothersome to have to restart the device every time it happens.

Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to to fix this?

It looks like you have done the upgrade to 6.1 Have you done a full factory reset? If yes, and that did not correct the problem you should talk to your carrier about a replacement phone! Especially if it has a one year warranty! let us know what you find.

happens on my phone, i have no idea what causes it. A reboot fixes it temporarily
