White noise sounds and alarm

So, my daughter sleeps in our room from time to time and I use white noise app so she sleeps better. my pixel 2xl would stop the white noise app when the alarm would go off. But the Samsung note 10 plays both the white noise and the alarm at the same time and the alarm is barely noticeable. The only thing that wakes me is up is the strong vibrate sound before the alarm goes off. Does anyone have any ideas on how to have the sound app stop when the alarm goes off? If this a setting or does samsung treat this differently? Thanks

Did you check the settings for that particular app?

Yes. Nothing that says anything about priority or anything. This worked fine on my pixel 2 xl.

Maybe contact the developer of that app and see what they say ?
