White part of the screen when using stock internet browser

Hi. I'm getting this thing on the bottom of my screen. It shows up every time... Even with other apps like flip board that open browser pages... Need help.

I am not seeing anything out of the norm in your screen shot. Can you do a couple of other app shots and post and try to describe what you are seeing?

Perhaps you could use something like https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ls?id=com.shinycore.picsayfree&token=BDxwDuCu to highlight the area of concern in your screenshot - I also don't see anything unusual in the picture that you posted.

Here, I marked the affected area. It got fixed after I restored my phone to factory settings, as it was bugging the heck out if me. I hope we can figure out what's wrong so other people won't have to go to such drastic measures...

Hmm, so much for "this thing on the bottom of my screen"
Oh well - now that we have an idea of what the problem is, we won't be able to help troubleshoot it since you've solved it with a Factory Reset. That was a bit more drastic than I would have suggested, but as they say Down Under - "good on ya mate"!
