Okay, just got my S6 Edge in white. Noticed that the screen is bleeding light onto the white edges of the phone. Like the light from the screen is being cast underneath the white of the phone, so it looks like it is glowing. Anyone else having this issue or is this normal. I find it very annoying to say the least. you can see the greenish glow on the side in the picture.

Anyone out there with a white s6 edge? Does the white border on your phone seem to glow when you're in a darker or lower lit area?

Actually nvm yeah mine does the same, I just turned off all the light and yup it does indeed. Doesn't bother me though...if you turn the brightness all the way up you can tell better

It'll naturally do that because there is a light source beneath it. The screen edges aren't 100% opaque so you'll always see some residual glow. For example, put your finger over a flashlight... Your finger will look like E.T, same effect occurs.

I think it's pretty cool lmao anyways you can only notice when it's really dark

I have found that the status light is bright too and maybe worth switching off at night too.
