White screen. Compressed contents on Note 8 Problem

On certain apps my screen turns everything white and compresses all the information to the middle of the screen. When closing and opening once again, sometimes it goes back to normal. On certain apps where I cant close and open, i'm left with a white screen and no way to fix the problem. Has this happened to anyone? Does this seem like a problem with my phone or is there a way to fix it?

This is the common Gmail app found on all Note 8's. It also occurs on playstore windows as well as other external apps.
