So I walked into Best Buy and asked if they priced matched against Radio Shack (already knew the answer). He asked me thier price and what..... color..... I wanted.

I had heard previously on these forums that they only priced matched the blue one as the white one was a Best Buy/Sprint exclusive.

Either they dont care anymore or the employee wasnt paying attention :)

Just good business on their part I think.

i work for best buy we will do it to help out our customers, we arent there to make enemys =]

too bad you can't actually get the phone for 149$ without a contract :D.
I paid 599 for my fascinate when it first came out.

I actually agree about Best Buy. I bought my S2 and S3 there and it was a good experience.

I prefer to buy my phones from Best Buy. Great service, Buy Back protection and better insurance.

The Radio Shack price of $149 is online only. They only match the in-store price.

However,Sam's club is $148.96 in-store. The GS2 is only 98cents

Went to best buy today to buy my wife the S3. They price matched the Sams Club price $148.88 no questions asked.

You're wrong as many people on this board have bought the phone for $149. I would of bought my S3 there as well but I wanted the 32gb one.

It is a shame Amazon only has the blue ones at this time, they are selling them for $119 each, no word when the white ones will show up.

We will price match anyone out there that is of reputable source. Any color. Radio Shack is $50 off any new service or upgrade. No specifics. I will and always take care of my clients and offer the best service around as well as show them why our Geek Squad Protection is better than service offered insurance.

So we can go to any BB Mobile and expect the treatment you state? If we want 2 white and 1 blue they will charge us the Amazon price a piece for the 3 of them? And how does the insurance hold up against Squaretrade and what does it cost? Thanks.

If true we will be switching to Sprint today.

Everything I read on the web states BB will not match Amazon's price, even reading BB's price match policy states only B&M stores.

:)
I have to say Best Buy Mobile has thier act together. Ive bought my last three phones through them and it has been great.

Absolutley agree! My HTC EVO 4G LTE (which I later swapped for an SIII) was the first phone I purchased from BB. I had always bought it from the carrier store, but Sprint refused to price match the EVO when I saw it at Comp USA for $150.00.

Went to BB and at the time they were running a promo in which they gave you a $50.00 gift card to use towards the phone, then they price matched CUSA, then they gave me $50.00 trade-in credit for my HTC Evo 4G which was in really bad shape (cracked screen, sync/charger jack was barely working).

Plus I had brought the EVO 4G LTE back a couple of times due to a variety of issues and they didn't give me one bit of hassle about it.Even when I wanted to swap it for an SIII. They simply swapped the phone out for a new one.

I really never shop at BB anymore, but as far as their mobile department is concerned, I will be going there from now on for future mobile purchases. :)

We just went over the BBM and he matched the Amazon price no problems at all, he was wonderful to deal with. Looks like we found a new phone store, never thought I would ever go to one again. Nice job Best Buy Mobile!

I'll add another thumbs up for Best Buy mobile. I drove to Radio Shack and asked if they would match their own website (it did say web deal only). The guy said it was $150 last week and the manager looking dude was like "nope, we don't match our website". Went to Best Buy and a few guys were sitting around. Said, I know its a web only deal, but would you match Radio Shack's deal on the S3. The one guy said $150 right? I said yes and he asked which one I would like. Got the Sprint Blue and couldn't be happier.

We couldn't be happier, have told everyone we came in contact with today how much we were impressed with Best Buy Mobile. I am still debating the Insurance for my daughter's phone, $170 for 2 years but the coverage is not matched anywhere.

Look at squaretrade. I've bought insurances for all our smartphones and ipods in the house through the years. You would save 50 to $100 vs the carrier or BB offering depending on the terms you get. Very worth it. Of course, Murphy's law. Since I have sqaretrade NOTHING has happened ever to any of our devices (even the kid's ones) Too funny.
