white spot on screen

if you guys pay for verizons extended warranty the replacement for a refurb one is free... My screen started going bad about .5 inches from the bottom, vertical lines, all the same size, horizontal across the screen... i went to the vzw store and got a replacement sent to me free of charge.

I just replaced my battery with one from a buddy that no longer uses his and spot is gone and I am already noticing better battery life. Looks like I bought some time before having to upgrade. Now if only VZW will get some decent phones in...

Same problem... refuse to spend more money on this phone to get a new battery, just waiting for upgrade and a decent phone to come to VZW

I have the EXACT same problem on my HTC One X. It's making me mad because when I got the phone, about two months ago, I thought it was going to be a lot better than my previous phone, the iPhone 4s. Though, now I'm starting to reconsider. Hopefully I can ship it back.

I've read elsewhere that replacing the battery (swells up) may help.
