Who can create an app for a watch 5

Is there a reason you can't use Samsung pay or Google pay?

OP might be asking for a version of the Starbucks app to be available on Galaxy or Wear OS watches, so that they can be used to pay using a Starbucks card, or to redeem stars when purchasing. As far as I can tell, that's only available for Apple Watches.:-\

Best thing I can suggest is to send feedback to Starbucks, asking them to work on a Wear OS version of the app.

Starbucks has a proprietary payment card? I only drink good coffee so I don't go there lol

They have their own card that you can load money onto (as well as their own credit card, but I don't think that would be the OP's issue).

Not to get into a deep coffee debate here, but there have been too many times I've been to other coffee chains or independent cafes and gotten a cup of sour coffee. Some of these places have had the cojones to say, "That's how it's supposed to taste." Starbucks may not be the absolute best coffee around, but I like that they're pretty consistent.

Good point on consistency

I moved this to watch 5 forums , it's gets more traffic then software development forums and see if members have experience with the app and watch

I'm not judging, I'm quite partial to a sausage and egg McMuffin which is also trash lol. Coffee is just one of those things I'm not willing to compromise on so I make my own.

On topic though, I don't think the OP has much chance of Starbucks making a wear OS app. And if anyone did make a wear OS app I think there's a pretty high chance they would get sued.

What's your preferred coffee bean?

Found a Columbian from kicking horse that I'm partial to.

Also a big fan of columbian, costa rican, and south america in general I'm usually not very keen on african beans , very often a bit astringent for my taste.

I do like trying new beans though, so I currently do one of those subscription services that deliver freshly roasted single farm specialty beans that they actually pay a fair price for... one thing I'll say for Starbucks, they're the only big coffee chain here in the UK that even commits to fairtrade.

WE don't have quite the cultural relationship with coffee here that America does, so the fact that I grind my own beans and take care over my coffee makes me a very odd duck. most people here drink instant coffee from crystals...

I really don't like Starbucks coffee or prices period. As far as I am concerned there are far better coffee places then Starbucks.

I looked at what languages the 2 OS are coded in, both are C, or C++. In theory, there should be a WearOS app. They are just choosing not to make one for whatever reason. I can guess why....
