Who CAN upgrade to Froyo?

Just saw the post that the MyTouch Froyo update has been delayed. That made me think, what phones HAVE been able to upgrade to 2.2 successfully? Other than the Nexus One and the Evo, I can't think of any.

I'm not an Android phone expert. Epic is my first Android phone and I don't keep track of all the others. But the blog posts seem to be more about how Froyo upgrades have failed and/or been delayed rather than successful upgrades.

The DROID line of phones by Motorola have been updated to 2.2, but I haven't seen much news on those phones.

That's what makes my question more interesting. Where are all those 2.2 phones coming from? I don't think they're upgrades. I think they're mostly new phone purchases.

There's my answer. A total of 7 phones have been upgraded to 2.2. All other 2.2 phones out there were sold with it already installed.

He was making the point that most phones available with froyo are shipping at their launch...fewer phones (aside from those mentioned) are getting it as an update.

Anyone thats ever dealt with a Samsung phone before the epic should have seen this one coming. I definitely did and thats why i didnt get one.
