Cool, been enjoying this nice weather before the notorious summer heat. On topic, I'm loving this new 6, moving from an iPhone 8+, last OnePlus device was a 3t.

So glad you are loving your new OnePlus 6! What made you move away from the 8+ and Apple?

I love both but iOS is becoming stale for me again. Just looking forward to some customization and tinkering.

Both I would say. I like how you can customize the vibrate pattern for incoming calls, but I wish I could do the same for sms and the like. It's nice to be able to change the intensity of the vibration too, but again, the strongest setting just isn't enough.

That said, it's not much different than the 5 or 5T, so if you're used to either of those you'll be ok.

You can do custom, user made vibrate patterns with the Textra SMS app fwiw. Easily my favorite Android app for texting.

I wish I didn't have pixel 2 xl so I can purchase op6 lol. I had op5 and I thought it was very solid phone but I got bore and sold it. My problem is that I get bore no matter what phone I have.

Yes and no. I leave the phone on my desk on vibrate mode all day at work, and can often don't hear the notification buzz if my attention isn't directly focused on it. Same story if it's in my pocket. If I'm talking around I never notice it, unless my hand happens to be in my pocket. I'll even miss alerts if I'm sitting down with the phone in my pocket and my attention isn't focused right there.

Incoming calls are ok, but notification alerts are just too weak.

No clue. Haven't heard anything. But I just got mine today and I'm looking to sell it. Haven't even opened it. If you're interested, let me know. Comes with the nylon case and two DBrand skins. I'm not looking to make money, just cover my shipping and what I paid for the stuff.

At first I was a bit disappointed, in particular because I could not connect my OP6 to an external monitor. (I know I'm crazy) BUT I have found a workaround. However once I turned on the gestures on my phone, DAMN, I really feel in love with this thing!
