Who goes "Naked"

I've honestly never used a case for any phone. I am just careful I guess. I haven't held a phone with a case on it where I haven't felt like it's intrusive.

I am currently using a nice transparent case just so it is thick enough for me to place the phone in an old blackberry case to which I have removed the flap. I can now carry it on my belt like I used to with my bold and it is safe that way. I guess I am too prude to go naked!

Xtreme Guard on the back so as to prevent scratches but still show off the looks.

Naked. But slightly endowed. I added Zagg screen protector and nerdly gel bumps near the lens so I don't paw it in my pocket or scratch the lens on surfaces.

Just a screen protector here, I bought the official HTC case - but hate it - makes the phone look like a Fisher price toy.

I use a clear case and screen protector. I prefer to be covered.

I have a outterbox I basically gather up dust lol. I always go naked and got a small crack on my screen for the trouble good for me that its barely noticeable.

Naked with a jacket!

I've always liked to wear pouches on my belt (I know, I know...) so while my phone has no covering it goes in to something to keep it protected from the things in my pockets. I don't have a favorite brand but I always stick with something that is lined with a soft material. If at all possible I get one that has loops for my belt to go through rather than something that just clips. Far more secure.

I know it isn't the most popular way to hold phones anymore so you can imagine my gratification when CrackBerry Kevin called it the most efficient way to hold your phone on a recent podcast.

I went naked with my 4s for nearly 2 years, never had a major drop and theres a few scuffs on it but its still in relatively good condition. I hope its the same for this phone after 2 years.

These days a few scuffs is enough to void your 1 year manufacturers guarantee, and could disqualify your device from insurance coverage assuming you are paying for any.

What!? :'(I thought this was the point of the insurance. Doesn't it cover screen cracks and all?

That will depend on your individual coverage with your carrier/insurance provider, but it has been my experience that Asurion (the main provider for US carriers) won't care about that if you're making a claim. He could be referring to any S&R coverage offered by carriers, though?

i alternate between my cruzerlite TPU, otterbox commuter and no case every couple days. not using a case today.

Got a few Mercury cases for my daughters One, 3 for about $15 and fit great. Had to get a screen protector too because the screen was bad after a few weekks of use. 1st scratch happened on Prom night, her and friends kept there phones stacked on table and she thinks friends iPhone made the 1st one. So waiting for screen protector and a few days, now her phone has multiple fine scratches all over the damn screen. She keeps it by itself in a purse pocket, she thinks her nails cause the fine scratches. It is bad! Just 2 week old, horrible.

Naked also.....but I've never been more nervous about scratching a phone before. I'm debating on getting a case/screen protector, but I hate the look of screen protectors and I don't like the bulk of a case.

It's too beautiful to scuff....I've never been happier with a phone in my life.

Insurance is sold on levels of coverage. Bottom levels- excludes phones that show signs of abuse. Check your policy. VZW is very picky with their return and replace policy now. My personal experience, I brought in a phone that was acting weird. It was in the same case that same store sold me when I bought the phone. The case covered everything but the very top ridge. There were a few scuffs on that area. The VZW rep called it abuse and referred me to the insurance company. A few awkward rebuttals later I left, called VZW service on the phone and returned it that way no problem, next day new phone by UPS. But now, I always use a case that covers all sides fully, just for the sake of argument.

Have any of the posters who go naked have an issue with the camera lens getting scratched when the phone is on its back?
