I have a Note 8 and a Pixel 2 XL. I've been solidly using the Pixel 2 XL for a month now due to Oreo and the Camera. I love the Note 8 and I can't wait to see Oreo on it but I am really liking the Pixel 2 XL.

I use the Note 8 as my main phone and have an LG V10 as a backup. I use that for mostly music as the headphones sound a lot better than the Note 8. Love that DAC chip!

I am really enjoying the Lg V20 as a 2nd phone It has a couple features I wish my Note 8 had. 1)wider and 2)wide angel rear view camera. Runs smooth and battery is decent. I used it for probably half the day today, some time last night as well. On my Note 8 again this afternoon.

it's nice to have two good phones for those *just in case* scenarios, ok I ended up with 2 Note 8s so not really all that exciting but at least the next few years I'll have note 9+8 and note 10+9 etc.. without a mega initial payment every time as that has already been suffered with these 2 devices

Yeah I have tried to make my brain allow that defense of having a backup but if I truly lost / messed up my phone I would just immediately go to the store and get one.

That's basically what happened, just as I had sold my Note 4 the Note 8 developed a problem and had to go in for a warranty repair, couldn't be without a phone for up to 10-12 days so went an spent my upgrade discount and got the second Note 8 for 399 plus a small hike in my monthly bill, ok it was 1500 on phones in two months but that's in tve past now
would have loved to try the LG V30 but it wasn't an option at the time

I've never had more than 1 phone. Never will. I mean, I have my old Note 4 that I decided to hang on to as a backup in case anything happens to my Note 8, but I can't imagine forking out money for multiple phones when I can only use 1 at a time. I honestly don't get it . What's the actual point/benefit in having multiple phones?

Not to mention the changing interfaces from one phone to the next. That would annoy the crap out of me.

I mean, do what you enjoy. There are far worse things in the world than owning multiple cell phones, but it seems incredibly silly to me.

I tried having 2 phones at a time by moving sim card back and forth. OH MY GOD it was annoying like hell. Never again. I am now a ONE phone user and it's the Note 8. It's a waste of money and wast of time. Unless you have a need for a 2nd phone for work, I would always stick to just one.

Note8 and iPhone X. I get bored and enjoy the variety. Only a bit of a PITA with visual voicemail (built into iOS) and iMessage (sometimes have to have contacts wipe out threads). Otherwise, swap the SIM and good to go.

I'm currently using the iPhone X. I had the Pixel 2 XL, but I got a really good offer for it that I couldn't refuse. I'll sell the iPhone X here shortly to get the Pixel 2 XL again. The iPhone X was my backup to the Pixel 2 XL.
