Who has the 1.4 update for Huawei Watch?

I've had it in Orlando for a week now, and I'm loving it on my Huawei. I'm doing the **** Tracy thing all over the place.

I think our watches got switched, mine went exactly the opposite direction. 😉

Mine has also improved a lot. I haven't tried yet, but I think I could get 2 days on a charge. I'm ending the day at roughly 45% left.

Got my update yesterday. Philippines. It just notified me that the update was ready, didn't need to reset or check for it

After my uodate, the weather app wont connect anymore. Did a factory reset, and still nothing. Can still only get vibration notifications, but ringtones and other sounds are there.

I took advantage of the Amazon sale last week and got my Huawei watch on Friday and checked for the update, nothing.
Checked on Saturday and there it was.
Since I have only had the watch for a couple of days, I don't know what it was like compared to all of you have had it longer. But I'm liking it -- a lot. I'm really glad I took advantage of the sale.

Dang that sucks, try doing a factory reset??

I am going on 32 hours now and it still has 35% left!!!!

Stupid question - how do you respond to a call on your watch and talk from the watch? When I get a call, if I respond from my watch, it just responds to the call on my phone, but not on my watch if I swipe to the left to answer the call. Is there some other motion I should use, or a setting I haven't turned on?

I figured it out - Settings/Bluetooth/Phone volume through watch.

You can set it to give you sound for notifications if you want.

I have the latest 1.4 update on the watch and just got the Android App update that is supposed to enable sound notifications but still no sound. I have sound all the way up in the Volume settings on the watch but it still only vibrates when I get a text or other notification. Has anybody been able to get sound to work on the watch?

Yes, once I went to Settings/Sound, and changed the media volume, alarm volume, or ring volume, each one of those events triggered sound as expected. Getting the watch to work as a speaker/microphone for phone calls further required going to Settings/Bluetooth/Play phone audio on watch and turning that to On.

I'm finding that the speaker on this thing blows. Unless I'm in a quiet room, I can barely hear callers. And yes, the volume is maxed.

So weird. I just cannot get any notifications to work out of the speaker. The speaker is fine since it makes sound when I change the volume levels but it stays silent during notifications despite the "Sound" setting being set to ON. I even did a Factory Reset. Too bad - sound was a feature I really needed since the vibrations are so utterly weak. Pretty disappointing watch overall.

I don't think it's supposed to ring for notifications. Mine doesn't.

Notifications don't work on the speaker, but most everyone has already realized that by now.

There's an app to get sound notifications from the speaker: https://plus.google.com/communities/104635994982381169290

You have to be a beta tester to get it from the Play Store.

On the vibration motor I disagree with the loudness/intensity. I thought it was too much, so I lowered it so it wouldn't vibrate too loud/intense. You need a custom kernel to modify that vibrator motor value though; on the plus side the custom kernel activates all 4 cores making your watch much snappier...the cores won't always be on all the time, they come on as needed.
