How's the cell and LTE service on AT&T for you? I couldn't bring myself to buy one because of the missing LTE bands, I'm on AT&T and in my area and the areas in the state I work in, it seems to always be on band 30 a lot lately and the Honor 8 doesn't support to many bands including 30

I'm with AT&T, and my service is great. I think mainly band 17 near me though.

On Tracfone here AT&T mvno.
LTE is good in an urban area.

I get good signal strength out away from town also.
Way better than Tmo on my other phone.

LTE service has been great for me. I'm on band 17 most of the time. (Arizona).

Good to see so many Honor 8 users here. For those with one in hand right now, what's your favorite feature? I still can't get over how fast the fingerprint recognition is.

Coming from an S7 edge I'm digging the smoothness and speed. This thing flies! I don't like how notifications are handled tho. Maybe it's user error but I'm missing notifications. I tried allowing them I'm settings but it doesn't seem to work consistently. The camera's not as good as the S7E but it's not bad. Lowlight is waaay better with the Samsung. Other than that, no real complaints. Auto-brightness could use some work too.

I had the same issue with notifications but once I switched out of smart battery mode to performance haven't had a issue yet. You may want to try that if you haven't already
