With an S10E, S10+, or the S10? I bought the Momentums and have been having extreme grief with them and my S10+. Sennheiser sent out a replacement set and I'm having the same exact problem.

I pair them with my S10+ and they work great a few times and then when I pull them out of the charger/case the right bud says "power on, no connection". The only way to get it reconnected is to reset the buds to factory and remove the Momentum profile from the phone's bluetooth profiles. Then, everything works fine a few more times and then we get a repeat of the problem.

I have a Gear S3 watch attached to my phone via bluetooth with no issues. I have the phone set to attach to my cars bluetooth each time I get in and turn on the engine, always works with no problems. I have the free Galaxy Ear Buds attached to the phone and they work with no problem (I don't like them so let's not get sidetracked on why).

I'm about to send the Sennheiser's back but thought I would give one last shot at figuring out what is going on here because I like the buds when they're working.

Anyone use these with their S10 series phone or have any suggestions for an issue that I might have overlooked.

One thing I should add. Even though the buds won't connect to the phone bluetooth anymore, they DO connect and respond to the Sennheiser app on the phone. After they tell me they're not connected I can open the app and check the battery level and turn the ambient noise filter on and off from the app.

Just get a refund and buy the Sony WH-1000XM3...works very well and is the best ANC headphone since 1000XM2.but might be tricky if its too cold as the touch panel at the side might be unresponsive or not responding.

I think he wants earbuds, not full headphones.

I have the Sennheiser MTW at the moment. I've had this happen one time. Other than that they've connected every time. I'm currently testing 3 different sets of wireless headphones, so I'm constantly taking them out and putting them back in the charging case.

I believe it's an issue that has supposedly been resolved with the 1.25 firmware. Unfortunately, I can't this junk to update to the latest firmware. I've tried on my S10+, iPhone XS Max, and my iPad. No luck. Mine are stuck on 1.23.

Thanks all for the responses. I've given up on the Sennheisers and will be returning them today. I've ordered the B&O E2 2.0's. And yeah, I have a set of cans already and am looking for buds to use for specific times.

I have the B&0 E8 and they work great and sound exceptional, just as a tip start with the foam tips and skip the silicone ;)

I've been using foams instead of silicon for a lot of years. Much better isolation and almost no audio leakage because of the better ear canal fit.

You should give the Jabra Elite Sport a look, I picked up a pair due to their built in heart rate monitor, but once you set them up with the appropriate tips and wings they actually create a full seal and reproduce good sound and deep bass. best of all, unlike other buds I've tried, I've never had an issue with desynchronization using them, either with a phone or between the two buds.

This whole time trying to get a really good set of buds has been frustrating. I'm an audio snob, I want and expect high quality audio. The B&O E8 2.0 were nice but I could not get them to seat properly in my ear and I tried a number of different tips.

I finally gave up and bought a new pair of Shure SE535's. They blow Jabra, Sennheiser, B&O buds out of the water but they also cost almost twice as much. Shure now has a bluetooth 5.0 dongle that makes them wireless but not a true wireless. But, with the compromise I have to live with short wires and a small dongle and in return I get to disconnect physically from my phone but also retain top quality audio in my buds.

I'm mostly happy but it would sure be nice to get the audio I want in a true wireless set of IEM's. Maybe in a couple years down the road we'll get there.

Oh, BTW I did also buy a set of the Jabra's and I returned them the next day. They were not bad but my frame of reference has been my old set of Shure 530's which are wired and old and do not have MMCX cables so cannot be set up with the new Shure dongles. But they provide phenomenal sound. They will spoil you for other stuff.
