Samsung a05 that I brought by my sister thrpugh online store(idk if Lazada or Shopee) last February 2024 has touch malfunction since it was new. The touch sometimes stops responding(with ghost touch if you pressed it long) until you turned off the screen for atleast a 1 seconds then the malfunction has been fixed. I turned on and off the settings like Accidentally Touch Protectjon and Increase Touch Sensitivity but no matter the settings, the issue still persists. Even I removed the screen protector, the issue still persists. Now i reported to the samsung support, but its annoyimg, 3ven the reply was ai, they told me to perform safe mode and run diagnostic, of course I tried it and atill persists. And they're want me to bring my phone into nearest samsung repair, but my phone is 1 year now and no warranty. Ofc for my opinion, Samsung has conspiracy for entry level phones making it with phine defects for cheaper price... who still owns A05 amd happening this issue?

Are you certain these phones were brand new? Since you bought them through a 3rd party online store, there's always a chance that this is a refurbished phone. Refurbished devices are usually ok, but sometimes there may be a flaw that the refurbisher didn't catch.

If this was an issue ever since you got it, then warranty should've covered it within that first year (assuming the warranty is valid -- this is not always the case when buying through a 3rd party online seller, if the phone was refurbished, or if it's grey market). Regardless, since it's out of any kind of warranty, your options are limited. It's probably not worth the cost of repair, given that it's a budget phone to begin with.

True... budget phones seems defective than expensive phones.

That's not what I'm saying, though. I was first trying to determine if this might have been a refurbished device that you got through a 3rd party seller.

I think quality control has more to do with the manufacturer than the price of a given phone. Samsung is a well-established manufacturer with a good reputation, so I doubt their budget phones have any higher rate of defects than their flagships. But a smaller company with a lesser reputation (e.g., Doogee or Blackview) will be more likely to have quality control issues across the board.
