Who still love there Note 3 and are waiting for note 5 or Note edge 2

I have note 3 May wait for GS4. May try iPhone 6+. I've never owned an iPhone. Seems like everyone does now.

love my Note 3, but I really like that the switched the menu button for the recent apps. Wish there was a way to switch it up on my Note 3

I'd love note 3 if samsung can update android L quickly :d
By the way, note 3 is a great phone with the magic spen. Note 4 isn't attractive me to buy it, so I'll wait for note 5

I just traded in my Note 3 for the Note 4 days ago. The Note 4 is a nice phone, the display is raZor sharp for sure. The photo quality is definitely an improvement to me. That said, I coulda stayed with my Note 3. She was only 6 months old and in absolutely flawless condition. ...but I had the itch (that itch gets expensive).

The Note 3 is a nice phone. The only complaint I had was that I wanted better low-lite photo quality. The Note 4 did provide that but has 2 issues that annoy me:

a) The camera can initially not focus for some time. I think this is a software issue and hopefully will be fixed.

b) I have disabled Google Hangouts in App Mangler but every so often I get a message that 'Unfortunately Google Hangouts has stopped'. It may be unfortunate for Google but it's great for me and I don't want to be notified about it.

Other than that the Note 4 is great...but I coulda stuck with the Note 3. That said, AT&T did throw in this LG G Pad 7 to sweeten the deal (there goes another $120/year).

I used to love my note 3 and gear. Now I no longer get full gmail body notifications on gear and gps sucks. The compass never worked right. WiFi sometimes slows to a crawl for no reason. I miss red underlining of spelling errors. I am 4.4.4 so cannot root. I hear the note 4 lags despite the fast processor and great screen. I am thinking seriously about a LG G4. I no longer trust Samsung.

i hope to use note 3 for 3 years or more. 14 months so far. phone is in great shape.

My original and only battery has been flat lining recently. Like at around 80-90% for 7-8 hours from unplugged with low use. It used to drop like a steep slope. So the battery is better than ever, with bad mistreatment from me, 20% top-ups and drops to 1%. Just an occasional calibration.

So while I can't afford it for a couple of months, I may not get a Note 4.

If I do, it will be more out of curiosity and boredom, rather than any enthusiasm.

Will I get to see Lollipop on the Note 3 first? Again, I am not too keen unless they finish the black theme.

That's what the Note 4 was for me...curiosity. The Note 3 is a great phone with only one area I needed to see improved and that was the camera. The Note 4 addresses that. As has been said, the Note 4's screen is delicious but the Note 3's is quite satisfying in its own right. If you're happy with the Note 3's camera save your money because while nice the Note 4's camera isn't $825 nicer. Everything else between the Note 3 and 4 besides the screen and camera is just sprinkles IMO.

Yes I'm happy with this camera for my uses. Some better low light shots would only help me rarely, if that is an improved area.
Having said what I said above, I did find the handwriting miles better on the 4, so much a poor writer like me would use it far more.
Also the screen for reading slim text characters and websites seems a big improvement.
The poor radio signal and public wifi were my biggest gripes, I'm told the 4 is improved (depending on the model I guess) but I now have UL fast data on another carrier and my calls are mostly on a Samsung candybar phone. I don't use my original number as much.
I can stay with the Note 3, it's performing really well. When I can make an outright purchase splash I may treat myself to the 4.
I do have a mild fear that I won't like it. Some things are missing, some areas more elaborate - but I adjusted to the Note 3, so I'll get over it. :D

I also played with a Note Edge today, they've arrived here at £100 more. I liked it but it's more of a like it now / hate it later risk.

One other reason to keep the 3...extended battery. I have a habit of getting one for every phone. Rezound, Note 2 and now the 3. The phone is so big the battery is just a slightly fatter rectangular slab. I have to admit that I'm not on the forefront of knowledge these days but aren't extended batteries now a thing of the past?

Someone's gonna always want their phone to go 6 months without charging it. Extended batteries will be around for a while.

My phone doesn't go 6 months with the Hyperion. More like 40 pct. at the end of the day. Alot of people aren't blessed with wifi and a strong cell signal all day.

I'll be looking at the Note 5. Hopefully this POS inconsistent GPS will be fixed !

My Note 3 failed me big time with its GPS. I noticed it in my running app. I would go 1.5 miles before it would get a GPS lock...frustrated the h3ll outta me.

I do really like my Note 3 but by the time the Note 5 comes out, I will have had this phone for 2 years and ready for a change/upgrade!

I actually just got mine 2 days ago. Instead of buying a brand new one off the shelf or second hand, i went for an ex display unit of 6 months. With full year warranty and mint condition this baby rocks.

I bought it for its build quality and its spacious storage. The fact that it can read 128gb cards makes it a done deal as my primary jukebox.

Yes, rather that dump money on a limited capacity ipod touch or the aging small-screened ipod classic , now i have with me a 5.5" monster of a jukebox player.

Oh yes, it can be used for calling too!

Not letting go of this baby anytime soon.

Note 3 is such an amazing phone. So thin, light, fast, great battery life - especially with lollipop! And dat screen!

It's still a beast of a phone, it's still right at the top of smartphones right now. I love the note 3. I've got an S5 as well and the note feels nicer, although the S5 has the fingerprint reader, water proofing etc. I prefer the bigger screen and love using the pen too.

When my S5 is up for renewal I guess I will be in Note 6 territory (may 2016) so can't wait to see what that will be like!

Right now though, the Note 3 is still such a totally superb phone and I totally love it. And lollipop is great too!

I'v had my N3 since February 2014. Almost halfway thru my 2 year contract. This is the best phone I have ever had.
Looked at the the N4 but it's not enough of a upgrade to for me change.
I could see keeping this phone past my contract.
