Who will be picking up a Galaxy S4 when they are released?

There's no guarantee that all of these phones will make it to Sprint. Moto is probably the least likely since they've been saving the good stuff for Verizon and AT&T and making middle-of-the-road phones with hardware keyboards for Sprint the last few years to cater to migrating Blackberry users. Google's scorched earth policy (not updating Android for many Moto phones - Photon, XPRT, Admiral - after Moto promised that they would provide upgrade support for 18 months then stranding users in a Gingerbread ghetto) has left many Sprint customers unlikely to trust them again.

Sprint's got quite a few iPhones left to sell and giving consumers too many non-iPhone choices won't help them with that. With Samsung, LG and HTC providing flagship Android phones will Sprint want to offer another Android option?

I think it's a safe bet the S5 and Note 3 would be in Sprint's lineup, unless there is a major falling out. But yeah the Nexus or X-phone is a long shot but you never know.

Release around the middle/end of April.
The S4 isn't coming out until May or June.

Told ya it would be out in April. ;)
Anyway, my upgrade is not until Dec 1st, so I will have to wait.
Of course, the selection of phones will be much different by then so that will be cool.
I still love my rooted Nexus so I am good for now.

$250!?! that's a turn off! I was going to pick it up but might have to wait now. Especially since there is no LTE in my area yet!

I agree. An upgrade price of $250.00 is kinda steep. Oh well. It is what it is.

The $250 price tag for the GS4 is awful. It just shows you that Sprint doesn't think much of it's customers. Just a slap in the face for sure. I am hoping that Amazon or some other web based retailer will undercut Sprint and sell them for $200 like every other carrier.

SPRINT= greedy little bastards!

Don't buy it at a Sprint store. I can trade in my Evo lte for $75. Plus $50 for an earlier email deal. Plus It's free screen protector.
That said, I'm still looking at the S4 or the One.

I would never get it from Sprint. Not only are they always the highest but they always try to get you to get other stuff you really don't need. At best buy they try to upsell too but at least they don't get commission and answer your questions with actual correct information not just gibberish.

If it's true and the X phone is a Nexus device I wouldn't put my money on any carrier getting it as it currently stands.

Read up on it... The X phone isn't branded as a Nexus device. Anyways, if I have to leave Sprint to get one, I will. Unlike you, I won't be trolling the Sprint forums after I'm no longer a customer of theirs.

While I can see your point some he can post in other threads. I post in other carrier threads.. I just don't try and answer questions that are network specific since my response would only be a guess.

Which is exactly the point I'm getting at. He WAS a Sprint customer that left for LTE when Sprint didn't have it. If he was that unhappy then why constantly cruise Sprint's forum nitpicking? I also cruise ALL the forums at AC. I don't bash other carriers though. I was given an AT&T phone once by a friend so we could talk to each other for free (this was before 'any mobile to mobile'). The service was absolute crap but I don't bash or say negative things to every comment I see about AT&T. To each their own. I'll leave it at that so the thread can stay on topic. Apologies to the OP.

After looking into the device I stand corrected.

Rumor: New details leak on Motorola’s X Phone and their upcoming Nexus phone | Android and Me

However we will see. I do not troll anyone. Maybe you should "correct the troll" rather than being rude. I don't think I was rude in any way. My post never said anything about Sprint or it being bad service.Unlike real trolls I understand coverage is based upon where you live. But thanks again for looking at this in a very "troll" like way your self. I was a Sprint customer until a year ago. I left for my own reasons and I hate to break it to you but my experiences may still benefit another. (Good or bad) Its visions like yours that allow technology to stay stagnate for a lot of people. Either way I admit the post was not 100% researched...I stop following it because I'm not a moto fan truth be told. But now I know.

I got the HTC One last week and it is awesome. Great build, great speakers, great screen and the battery has lasted all day every day (usually 16+ hours when I go to bed and has never been below 20%). Since I'm new to Sprint I also effectively got it for free. HTC had a promotion where if you pre-registered you could trade in your old device for a minimum of $100 if you bought the One and as a new Sprint customer I got the phone for $99.

I got my hands on my brothers s4 today. I like the way it feels in the hand. The screen looks awesome but honestly it felt and pretty much looks like the S3. But he came from the S2 so it's a big upgrade for him. I'm going to sell my S3 on swappa but I'm not sure if I will get the S4 or the HTC One? The S4 has a SIM card and under the roaming options it has gsm roaming, very interesting.
