Who would have wanted a 6 inch Note 3?

Yes! A 6" screen would've sealed the deal for me to replace my Note 2. Otherwise the slight bump to 5.7" (over the Note 2's 5.5") just isn't compelling enough to me. I'm content to wait for the Note 4 which will most likely have a larger screen. :)

I wouldn't have wanted a six-inch screen because that would have been too big. I probably would have gotten it anyway, but I'm happy that the overall device size didn't increase from the Note II. I liked the size of the original Note the best.

no me, too large IMO, i was planning to get the Sony Z Ultra, but i have see one in the shop and it's really a huge phone (or a small tablet), in the end i receive my Note3 the 3 october

or at least a 6 inch option. same specs and all but on a 6 inch device. unlike the mega, which does not have same specs

Why do you think 6" is that much different than 5.7" ? 152.4 mm vs 144.78 mm ?

Looking at the design progression from the Note 1 (5.3) to the Note 2 (5.5), the (5.7) or the Note 3 made sense as a growth goal. The fact that they were able to fit that screen size into the same form space as the Note 2 was also a win on their part. That means little to no change on many accessories that are already available or targeted towards the Note 2.

If it had been 6.3" I wouldn't love it any less and I don't think it'd really change how I use it (one hand vs. two).

It make a huge differences when compare to the 5.5 Note 2. Being able to fit a bigger size screen on a same size device is nothing new, they did it with the S4 and Apple have been doing that for a decade now. That is not at all impressive. I wish they would increase the size of the device not just the screen size.

5.7" perfect for a screen size, 6" is just too big for me. But theres a market out there for the 6.

I need to be able to comfortably fit my phone in my pockets. In case I have to carry stuff around, I have both hands free. That, and the Note seems to be the only device that takes advantage of a larger display with added software features. Rather than being just a larger phone for the sake of being larger.

Maybe if I wore cargo shorts/pants everywhere then sure. I'm not saying I'm against a larger smartphone for the people that need/want it. However there has to be a point where the phone becomes to big, and Samsung figured 6.3" for a flagship was too big.

I would have LOVED a six inch screen. I was all in on the GN3 Phablet @ 6'

I was looking forward to a bigger phone....I have the Razr Maxx (that my wife is getting next week) and wanted a slightly larger phone. Samsung made the right choice, If the jump had been made to 6' they would have lost a lot of the market share that they have created. It would have become even more of a niche product than it is. Two years from now a 6' screen will not even turn heads....

(big without the specs? does not get my attention)
