The whole back of my Pixel 3 XL vibrates when I play any audio especially YouTube. Feels awful and cheap. Anyone else experiencing this?

There's an existing thread discussing this. If you can't find it I'll try to post a link later.

Being an audiophile, I wouldn't call that a result of cheapness, it's more a result of being able to play a more full sound with more bass. Have you ever noticed that the more bass, the more sympathetic vibration? A bass sound has much more vibrating power than a treble sound.

i recall reading the other thread and didnt think much of it, got my Pixel 3 yesterday and wow ya thats a lot of vibration going on. i get the impression the improvement to the hepatic motors are a big factor, to me thats ok because ill take that over very loud speakers (Pixel 3 are SUPER loud, loudest ive ever heard)

Yep I agree the sound is so much better and heaps of bass, sound quality is fantastic but the vibration is terrible I can feel it throughout the whole back of the phone. I have learnt to try and hold the phone on the edges rather than the back. At first I was on the fence about returning this phone as it has a few bugs but the more I use it the more I love it. My biggest concern is the double tap to wake not working a lot of the time as I use this all day everyday.
