Who's collecting your data?

I just noticed that Call Recorder App has used something like 10mb of data in the last month - why would this be necessary for an app which supposedly only records calls at the speaker level?

What permissions does the app have? What if you turn off all permissions except for Microphone and Storage, and also restrict its background data usage?

Good idea to turn off background data, done, but it needs permissions to function. Weird.
