O.K., so i'm guessing that you can at least attach a notification tone to an email or a text? Does the second screen go on for a few seconds?

The second screen stays on all the time, even when the main screen is off.

grunt, the notification icon will remain present in the second screen and since the second screen is always on you just have to glance at your phone to see if there are any notifications.

Well, when I hear the "ping", i'll know that an email came in. I guess I can get used to that.

I'm torn between getting the V10 or a Note 4. They seem to be extremely similar with no feature that stands out on either side.

I fooled around with this phone yesterday, and I have to say I really like it. Now I've made it so I'll be hanging on to my Galaxy S5 longer.... but when it's time is truly up, I just might be going right to the V10. 64GB internal storage? Room for a microSD? Note-like proportions with a removable battery? It seems like an even better LG G4 (which I almost purchased).

I just came from a note 4 to the LG V10. I like this phone much better. The camera is far superior! I love the 2nd screen, the phone audio is way better. People aren't telling me I sound all distorted anymore. The battery is smaller but I'm getting 17 hours on it and when LG sends me my promo battery I will be all set and can just swap out the battery

If you are close to getting the V10 that promo should push you over the edge.

This is my first LG phone and I'm still getting used to the buttons on the back. But it is something distinctive that sets them apart.
As tall as this phone is putting buttons on the top is not practical.

One nice thing about back buttons is watching video in landscape no having to worry about changing the volume or power button with your fingers! I do it all the time with my Note 3!

Same with retrieving from my pocket when listening to music!

The promo ends on Nov.15. My contract ends in Jan. I'm leaning towards the Note 5. If i have to, i can live with 64gbs. and my google drive app. 100gbs, for $1.99 per month. I like the look of the Note 5, and i like that s-pen, too.

I love that the buttons are on the back. With any other phone I was always hitting those side buttons when handling the phone....messing up my volume....
