I'm liking mine so far. Haven't had much free time to do much in depth testing, but so far so good. It's gonna take a lot to live up to my Note 20 Ultra.
I just got the 9 Pro to replace my Note 20 and I'm really liking it so far.
I'm waiting for Android 11 on my 1+7TP mclarenJust received the 11.2.3.3 update for the US unlocked model. This is the second after launch update.![]()

Yeah I agree , to me they headed in wrong direction lately, that's why I stayed with the 1+7 mclaren and didn't jump to the 8 or 9 just didn't see anything I wanted , I think they do quarterly update which is strange they do that , and software updates getting slower . This a good chance for them to get more sales since LG out in the US but they need to fix some things and price is one of them , I'm still a fan of them.Yeah no doubt OnePlus sucks big time with software updates. 9 Pro is also on March security update and pretty sure they absolutely will ignore security updates and do once a quarter or whenever they feel. Honestly they are losing all the appeal. I’m actually contemplating returning the 9 pro, anyway have multiple phones and I’m not reaching out to my 9 pro as often as I’m reaching out to my other phones. So something ain’t right for my liking personally![]()
I also like their phones in general but I think they will struggle trying to compete with Samsung and Apple at $1000 plus price point. When you sell your phone for $1069, my comparisons and expectations also increaseYeah I agree , to me they headed in wrong direction lately, that's why I stayed with the 1+7 mclaren and didn't jump to the 8 or 9 just didn't see anything I wanted , I think they do quarterly update which is strange they do that , and software updates getting slower . Just my opinion but if one likes the phone then it doesn't matter.

I've had them since 6 and 7 series and didn't experience timely updates , probably the earlier generationIf they are going to charge those prices they should for sure go back to basics with keeping customers coming back - regular updates being one of them. I thought in the earlier days, OP was better with regular, timely updates?

I believe so if I'm not mistaken. It's been a while since I've been immersed in OP Land - was it the 5 or 5T, or even the 3 line, maybe, that had those consistent updates?
I got out of my LG V60 early and went to this phone. The fingerprint reader is far superior not to mention this also has excellent facial recognition. My LG and zero facial recognition. I've only had it for about a day and I'm hoping the battery gets better but overall it seems to be a very solid phone. It's too early to give it a real review but so far no real complaints.
