Who's regretting not going with a larger model?

It's actually really good. We'll see how it fairs after a few weeks of use?

I dont have exact info yet but it's definitely as good if not better than my XR. The S10e also charges way faster than the XR.

I heard XR battery life is among the best ones out there, s10e's can not be compared to. But I dont think ios is the best system. I used to use iphone 5 but did not like it, I prefer android system (samsung). S10 is charged way faster than XR though, so an average battery life is not a concern.

Man. That's a tough one......

I honestly think the S10e is a better phone for the value. Better screen, FPS sensor, better size, headphone Jack, storage options, etc....

The S10e is also WAY faster/snappier than the XR. However, XR is butter smooth....

The XR is also a great phone but I think iOS is a way better ecosystem as a whole. All iOS devices just play well with each other.
That's a common sentiment. I have lots of apple devices (MacBook pro, watch, iPad, TV) but I find that internet bookmarks are the main thing that I worry about syncing across devices. I've solved that by importing to chrome. I never iMessage from anything other than my phone anyway for the most part.

I think they should have done just 2 models: the curved S10 Plus and a flat screen 6inch S10. That would have been perfect for me. Still, my S10e is my main phone and I really like it.

I have seen 3 reviews are showing the S10e has better battery life than the XR. One of them is GSMARENA and I have found their battery test results to be very accurate.

As far as battery life, I'm getting around 7.5 to 8 hours SOT. Light gaming, YouTube, Facebook, forums, and web browsing.

I am considering the regular S10 a little bit but the in-display fingerprint scanner and price are holding me back. I much prefer the size, flat screen, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner of the S10e.

I wonder if the difference is the Exynos vs. Qualcomm processor. GSMArena is in Europe and, from what I've seen, tests European versions of phones -- so in this case the S10e they tested would be one with an Exynos processor.

My experience with the S10e with a Qualcomm processor (US model) has been pretty mediocre battery life. In particular, using Google Maps to navigate drains the battery very quickly.

I absolutely love the size to be honest, I got tired of the big phones... I don't do much on my phone so it's not a big deal.

I used to do a lot of video watching on my phone, but now I use the PlayStation/my husband's laptop for those kinds of things. My phone is a video viewer only in a pinch! I much prefer the pocketability of a phone rather than the largeness of its screen.

I love the size of the S10E much more than the Note 8 I traded in. Miss the stylus at times. Wish Samsung would make a mini note this size.

Been hoping for a smaller note for some time, but I can't imagine that's going to happen. It would probably have to be fairly thick to have a decent battery. But I'd buy it. My last two phones were Note 5 and now 8. Not sure I'll do the Note 10 or go with something like the s10e. Depends on the promotions they offer.

I just held the S10e and S10 in my hands yesterday at Best Buy. typing on the S10e was easier but the 10 wasn't as big to hold as I had initially thought; but it was very wide. I don't like that the S10 has a curved screen, in-display fingerprint scanner, and bigger price tag... I think I'm going to go with the S10e. I never thought I'd get a Samsung phone... Wow!

GSMARENA tested both and the S10e won the battery endurance test by 5 hours. I have found their battery test results to be the most accurate of any. There are also a few YouTube videos demonstrating the same results.

Which version of the S10e? The issue here is that there are the phones with the Exynos processor and the ones with the Snapdragon. While I can't claim how the S10e compares to other phones, my experience is that my S10e with the Snapdragon 855 discharges quickly under heavy use (less than a day), though it does okay under light use.

I don't know what everybody is complaining about. After having the phone for a month, I'm getting excellent battery life.

Snapdragon. I typically get 5 to 6 hours SOT and battery is at 20% and have seen over 7. Screen stays on auto and I do not play any games, but I do watch YouTube at least an hour a day.
4 email accounts, 3 texting kids and a Galaxy Watch Active.

I don't have any Bluetooth device paired, and have AOD disabled. I use the DTW instead. I have also disabled Bixby in favor of the Google Assistant.
