Who's trading in for the Galaxy Fold?

No way foldable devices are dead in the water. For one they are too thick and the technology is far from perfected so it will be years before they make a thin enough device for me.

I like the folding concept but I think for now, I'll hold on to my Note 10+. If there is ever a fold that has a bigger front screen size when its folded and isn't as chunky, I might go for it. It's probably the wave of the future but this iteration is far from perfected.

They are going to charge alot for the privilege of being a first adopter..... On a concept that has already failed in round one of testing. But if you have the buckos lying around why not.

when samsung perfects that foldable glass they patented I would imagine an s-pen would be possible in a foldable, only then will I consider it, until then it is a *if I win the lottery* type of thing

I just feel like opening and closing it all the time will annoy me, because the outside smaller screen is just ridiculous looking. Mind you I haven't seen it in real life (yet).

I'll certainly be keeping an eye on the fold and watching YouTube videos etc and hopefully it'll be in the local Samsung Experience Store to have a play with but as to purchasing one that will be a No.

It's just not practical for me so I'll be sticking with my Note 10+ 5G for at least a year.

I was going to pick eother the note10+ or fold. Note10+ came out first and about half the cost with an spen. So no fold for me.

When I start hearing prices like this, I think about building a new gaming PC, and STILL having change left...!?!

That's what I'm talking about. With $2000 I can get a PS4, Nintendo Switch (with a couple games), some clothes, new shoes and a pack of gum.

If you're thinking of trading in a phone already that you just got 2 weeks ago, then you shouldn't have gotten the phone in the first place.
