Who's using on their V20?

I've used this app for maybe, my last 5 phones. I just installed it on this phone because now, that it's early 2 months, if you haven't noticed, I've been testing things out and tinkering here and there. I love how the v20 handled the auto brightness but I don't need my screen that bright. I decided to add lux back on my phone to see if it'll still have that dag on lag it had on the V10.. Not any yet and after 9 hours on the battery, it was around 70% with almost 2 hours of SOT and it just jumped to using 4% of my battery. Very very interesting. I made sure I was on high contrast.. Maybe I'll continue to tinker around with it. But the biggest thing is that the screen is readable (it was overcast and rainy today) and there's no lag!!! I hated the crazy lag it gave my V10.

I agree.. I just wish we can set the limit to how bright it gets.

I was using it for a while. I don't think the screen gets dark enough when reading in bed or really dark rooms. My battery life didn't seem near as good using lux so I uninstalled it. I really like the app though.

Oddly enough I think it's helping mine. I've been unplugged for 11 hours.. Have 50 percent battery left and had the screen on for 2.5 hours..

yesterday was my first time ever getting 5h30m SOT on my battery. I was opening the stats to snap a screen shot and it died. Got the normal 15-19hrs on the battery but the screen is what surprised me.

Cool, how have you set up your phone..? Do you have all or some syncing on? Do you have notifications on for apps left on or some or none? Would you describe your usage as heavy, light or normal...sorry for 20 questions just trying to get a measure in the SOT that people talk about... thanks.

I have 2 Gmail accounts constantly syncing.

5 Twitter accounts syncing
2 instagram accounts syncing
FB is installed
Lots of voxer and slack
Some Allo and Hangouts
GPS on battery saver.
Google Now is on
LG Health and water reminders


I turned on data saver and have only Facebook and instagram restricted.

YouTube a bit, Amazon music a bit, camera, text and calls.

This is all spread out and I usually get around 4 hours of screen time. Yesterday was the most I got after I restricted the ceiling on how bright my phone gets on auto brightness. I feel like I'm missing something haha.

Wow that's amazing, by the way how many apps do you think you have installed? I'm not getting amazing battery life like that, but i think the reason why is because I have a lot of apps installed (120), I need to do some spring cleaning and get rid of some

I've used Lux for many years, HOWEVER, I have been having lag issues particularly with my notification shade and some screen lag in my apps. I uninstalled LUX and the lag has gone away. Hopefully an update will fix it but until then, things are working well without it. Also, didn't notice much battery savings.

That happened on my V10 I uninstalled it, but I timidly installed it on here and it's been great. I'm happy about it.

I'm afraid to use Lux on the V20.

Water and the V20 don't mix
