I'm currently on Verizon so I'm awaiting my 16gb S4 to come in. I was worried about whether or not I would have enough space because I use both Spotify and Google Play Music a lot and you can't cache music to the sd card. Well I finally found my solution. Samsung's Music Hub. I happened to open it up on my Note 8 today and it turns out you can pick where you cache your items. It also combines the functionality of Spotify and Play Music so now I only have to use one app instead of 2. I don't like Spotify's app anyway cause it can't do landscape and I'll be spending the same amount a month. They also give you 100gb of upload space for songs that they can't match in their library. Just thought I would post this in case anyone else was in the same situation. Does anybody else use Music Hub?
