Why all of the M9 hate? I don't get it...

I agree. Nevertheless I decided to test the device before making up my mind. After reading all reviews I had cancelled my preorder, but today I thought about it again and placed a new preorder. I just love the design too much to let go..
I don't re care about the camera quality since I also have an iPhone 6 Plus. If battery lasts me through the day with no problems, then I am ok with that. My only real big concern is the display quality (not its resolution). I will give HTC another chance.

I almost called this the otherday, I was surprised you even cancelled in the first place! - Adam

HTC could make it so much easier for us this year. I hope I won't be disappointed when I get the device.

Yeah possibly. I have no doubt that's exactly what HTC is after - the general consumers being impressed by it and picking up the phone. To me, it's a completely irrelevant feature.

The other point you make about the camera - it seems that's one area where HTC continue to struggle in. Samsung and LG have stepped up a lot on camera quality, but it seems HTC aren't there yet. Which is another reason why I won't be picking up the M9. Again, to the average consumer, they might see '20mp camera' and think that it's better than any camera with a smaller resolution. While that's grossly incorrect, it might work out for HTC.

But from what I've read and seen, I can't put money down on the M9. Especially when I think there's another phone which is better in almost all respects.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm just not so down in htc yet. I'm going to upgrade my m7. I'm just not sure to what yet. I have the m7 since launch and an Evo 3d before that. I'm going to wait until the other flagship come out and compare real world reviews.

So you cancelled your preorde than preordered again on the M9? And what carrier do you have?

I am in Germany and am on T-Mobile. Having said that, I always prefer to get non branded devices, and pay the full price of the device. I ordered directly from HTC.

I contacted the HTC online store today and they informed me that the device will be delivered by April the 3rd.

I look forward to your thoughts on the device.

Can I say heating Problem ?

And Htc is from China , and M9 /m8 is as expensive as Samsung NOTE 4 /S6 ,
Another Monster from China Called Oneplus , which stored 3GB Ram Last Year , Cost you 299 dollars with 64 GB ROM

So make your own Choice

heating problem is semi-fixed and won't be noticeable for most people.

HTC is from Taiwan, One plus is from mainland China.

Yes One plus one is a great phablet for a even greater price, although the contrast of the display and lacking of sd slot/removable battery (somehow it has a removable back but not battery?) are somewhat problematic for me.

Really wow so you'll have it before us! :-) Lucky You! Let us know how you like it I'm sure you will. I am going to get it as soon as I can from Sprint.
