Why am I getting error messages?

An application pops

I just finished building an application, which compiled on eclipse without an error. On testing it on an android device, I get "Unfortunately {MyApp}, has stopped. This happens immediately after a blank screen is displayed when the launcher is clicked.

Have you tried testing on more than one device? If just one, it may be a device fault....perhaps needs a Cache Partition or Cached Data wipe or something.

Are you sure you compiled it for the version of Android you're running on your device?
