Why am I getting notification noises on my S7 - turned EVERYTHING off or silent.

I have accessed notifications for device and apps and still getting a "bing" regularly. I use an E-Mail account other than GMail . . .

Welcome to Android Central! Is the entire system volume turned to silent/vibrate, or did you go to each app and turn of notifications there?

Is this notification tone the system default, or is it one you've never heard before?
