Why am I getting the error message Unfortunately, WhasApp has stopped.?

Unfortunately, WhasApp has stopped.

I have HTC One S and since yesterday I keep getting this error message. I have tried cleaning the cache, data, re-installed WhatsApp and finally factory reset the phone but no success. I still cannot make WhatsApp work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
