Why am I having issues with my battery.

I bought a battery last year summer from a third party on Amazon and now the phone has shut down again. It is not powering on. How can I get a battery from Samsung to purchase. Ain't nothing wrong with the phone, just battery problem

Try calling Samsung. Alternatively you can try UBREAKIFIX. They are an authorized repair shop and should be able to get OEM batteries.
My only question is are you certain it's the battery?

Welcome to Android Central! How old is the phone? If it's really old, then keep in mind that most of the batteries available for it are also really old (and have been sitting on a shelf somewhere), so they probably won't last very long in general.
